Horacio Martinez joined the SES team in 2018 as a staff geologist. He studied geology and foreign language with a focus in French at the University of South Alabama and is skilled in AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and Sanitas Statistical Software. His daily responsibilities include field work consisting of Phase I and Phase II environmental assessments, ground or surface water sampling, soil sampling, well developing, and landfill explosive gas testing; mapping (hydraulic gradient and groundwater elevations and geologic mapping); maintenance of remediation systems; supervision of well/piezometer installations; supervision of MIP/LIF and HPT Investigations, along with associated data entry and report writing. Horacio also has experience with UST closure services and reporting, and Stormwater (NPDES) inspections and sampling. Additionally, he is a Licensed Asbestos Inspector and Licensed Lead Based Paint Inspector.
