Daniel joined Southern Earth Sciences (SES) in 2016 bringing with him 12 years of previous experience and serves as a Senior Engineer in our Geotechnical Engineering Department. He maintains professional engineering licenses in AL, MS, FL, LA, and TX. Daniel provides technical expertise for a range of subsurface exploration and geotechnical consulting projects. His areas of interests include shallow and deep foundations, settlement evaluation and mitigation, groundwater and seepage, slope stability, and retaining walls. He is experienced with earthwork and foundation construction and related materials testing, inspections, and instrumentation. Daniel has an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from Auburn University, and an MS degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering from Virginia Tech. Daniel has served in officer positions with the Mobile Branch of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), and also participates locally in the Association of General Contractors (AGC) and Society of American Military Engineers (SAME).
