SES Acquires Mississippi-Based Quality Engineering Services, Inc. (QES)

SES is pleased to announce the acquisition of Quality Engineering Services, Inc. (QES). QES is a Mississippi based small business, providing engineering consulting and construction materials testing. The acquisition of QES’s Long Beach, Mississippi, office brings SES’s office total to 12 across Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, and now Mississippi.

Founded by John P. Oliver, III, QES has been a family-owned and operated business serving the Mississippi coast since 1993. Oliver, along with most QES staff, will stay on with SES. “We have enjoyed a great working relationship with SES since we began and this acquisition just made sense for us as I look toward the future and eventual retirement,” shared Oliver. SES President, Lewis Copeland, Jr., added, “we are very excited to welcome John and the QES team into the SES family. We anticipate this to be a very smooth transition as we have shared many of the same clients working as a sub for QES providing additional services they didn’t offer.”
