Southern Earth Sciences performed Phase I and II Field Investigation and Lab Testing services for the New Orleans District, USACE IDIQ Contract No. W912P8-07-D-0021. The project is located within Plaquemines Parish covering from New Orleans to Venice, Louisiana.

Services performed by SES included drilling, cone penetration testing and laboratory testing. The total drilling footage for Phase I of the project was 1,706 ft. and Phase II was an additional 2,290 ft. The total footage for Cone Penetration Testing was 4,090 ft.

In addition, approximately 1,200 triaxial tests, 2,000 Atterberg limits, 70 consolidations, and 3,000 moisture content tests were completed by SES.
